Ultreia
About ultreia
Shirley MacLaine, in her book "The Camino: A Journey of the Spirit", offers a definition of the word "ultreia" that serves as the cornerstone of Amy's work. More broadly, it means to move forward with courage. Camino pilgrims take this greeting to heart as they navigate uncertain terrain, conditions, and physical and personal challenges.
Like pilgrims, we are all called to do just that, courageously navigate the uncertainty of today's world in every aspect of our life journey. And also, like pilgrims, we need to dig deep to find the courage to do so.
This is where Ultreia can help.
Ultreia offers three paths to help you go beyond, further, and forward with courage through whatever challenges you face, toward a greater sense of peace and well being. Here is what makes Amy uniquely positioned to support you on each.
Day 1 on The Way of St. James, 2017
Amy completed her first Reiki training in 2010. She is Reiki/Master credentialed in the Usui Shiki Ryoho school of Reiki, which is the most common practice of Reiki in the western world.
Amy completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Spiritually Informed Psychotherapy in 2019. The focus of her studies and thesis was the integration of spiritually transformative experiences. She also holds a Masters Degree in Applied Communication.
Amy has been a student of spiritual, religious, and metaphysical principles and teachings for over 30 years, and has offered coaching and consulting since 2005.
Amy completed training through the International Organization of Professional Organizers in 2020, but developed her ability to freshen up indoor and outdoor spaces over a period of 40 years. She specializes in decluttering, organizing, painting, and clearing energy.
